CARUANA. On May 17, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital, ANNIE of Marsa, aged 89, departed peacefully to meet her Creator comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her dear brother Edwin and his wife Carmen of Australia, her loving niece Maria Muscat with whom she had lived for many years, her sister-in-law Nazja widow of her brother Renzo, many other nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital tomorrow at 8am for the Holy Trinity parish church, Marsa, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, and Id-Dar tal-Kleru, Birkirkara, will be greatly appreciated. Dear Lord, please grant her always eternal peace and rest.
PACE. On May 16, ANTHONY P., aged 78, passed away peacefully at home comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Lilian née Jaccarini, his daughter Brigid and her husband Patrick Garroni, his grandchildren Andrea and his wife Deborah, and Enrica and her boyfriend Andrew Slater, his brother Dr John Pace, his sisters Emily, widow of Edwin Delia, and Doris and her husband Victor Vella, his in-laws Rosa, widow of Joe Consiglio, Fr Victor Jaccarini, SJ, Louis and his wife Marlene, Dr Carol and his wife Grace, Hilda and her husband Dr Victor De Micoli, Aunt Carmen Bezzina, cousins, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9.30am at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, and the Jesuit Refugee Service, Birkirkara, would be appreciated. May he rest in the peace of the Risen Lord.
