GATT. On May 3, Major PETER GATT, aged 81, passed away peacefully at home, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Simon and his wife Beatrice, Blanche and Richard, Jennifer and Ron, Michael, and Caroline and her husband Richard, his grandchildren Sophie, Paul, James and Julian, his sister Clarissa and her husband Anton, in-laws, nephews and nieces, his carer Mimi, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today at 2pm at the Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request by donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, are welcome. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
JACONO – Major NESTOR JACONO. On May 4, passed away peacefully at the age of 89. He leaves to mourn his loss Monica, widow of Rene Borg Testaferrata, his cousins Rosette, Clare, Arthur, Moyra, Brian, Kathleen and their respective spouses and children, Yvonne Sant Cassia, Anthony Curmi, Oscar Sammut, relatives abroad and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated today at 8.45am at St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Ursuline Sisters, Sliema, will be greatly appreciated. May God grant him eternal rest.
