On April 27, The most noble Countess MARIA THERESA DEGUARA CARUANA GATTO, Countess of Beberrua, at the age of 90, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Connie, Paul and his wife Maria Victoria, Henry and his fiancée Madeleine Gera, her grand-children Malcolm and Francesco, other relatives, friends and her loves ones Mary, Jeanesse, Charmaine 1, Grace, Charlene, Charmaine II and Jacqueline. SALIBA. On April 26, at Casa Leone, Sliema, RAYMONDE, née Langlois, of Quebec, Canada, widow of Carmelo Saliba (Tubu), passed away peacefully at the age of 85. She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Diane, Andrea, Charles and Connie together with their partners. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Christine, Jonathan, David, Laura, Jordan, Robert, Joshua, Nadya and their respective partners, her great-granddaughters Sade and Azara, her sister-in-law Josephine Saliba, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said at St Francis of Assisi parish church, Qawra, tomorrow at 8.30am, followed by interment at Burmarrad cemetery. SCHEMBRI WISMAYER. On April 24, SAVIOUR (psychiatrist) aged 85, passed away suddenly and peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Barbara, née Portelli, his children Mark, David, Marthese and Denise, their respective partners and spouses, Mariella, Maureen and Ivan, his cherished grandchildren Audrey, Sarah, Alan, Daniel, Martina, Anthony and Kyle, his brothers Albert, Roy, Reno, his sister Mary Rose, their respective wives and the wives of his late brothers, together with other relatives, many colleagues and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3pm for Our Saviour parish church, Lija, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment at Lija Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id- Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi will be greatly appreciated. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
VELLA. On April 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH, from Mellieħa, aged 78, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Esther, née Fenech, his children Philip and his wife Marlise, Margaret and her husband Albert Bartolo, his grandchildren Sean and his wife Annabelle, Cher and Steven and his fiancé Christine, his brothers Manuel and his wife Vicky,Saviour and his wife Margaret, his in-laws and their families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.45pm to St Anna Street, Mellieħa, where a cortège accompanied by La Vittorja Band to the Maria Bambina parish church, Mellieħa where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm followed by interment at Sultana tal-Vittorji Cemetery, Mellieħa.
