CUTAJAR. On February 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH of Gudja, aged 72, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Violet, his sons David and his wife Simone and Patrick and his wife Simone, the Fairclough family, his family, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for Gudja parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment at Gudja cemetery.
DEGIORGIO. On February 16, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, MARY, aged 87, went to meet the Risen Lord. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband John, her daughter Rosette and her husband Arthur Sciberras, her grandsons Karl and his wife Felicia Sciberras, Paul and his wife Melissa Sciberras, her great-grandson Marcello, her brothers Paul and his wife Bice Asciak, Emanuel and his wife Doreen Asciak, in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence on Saturday at 9.30am for St Joseph parish church, Msida, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
DIMECH. On February 9, MARTIN of Msida, passed away peacefully, in Salford, Manchester, aged 54. He leaves to mourn his loss his devoted wife Bernardette, née Saliba, his children Matthew, Yanika and her fiancé Christian, and Kim. He also leaves to mourn his loss his sisters Margaret and her husband Vincent and Marianne and her husband Louis, his mother-in-law Miriam, his sister-in-law Veronica and her husband Joseph, his nephews and nieces, his many relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22 at 8.45am at Msida parish church, followed by interment at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Żebbuġ. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
GRISCTI SOLER. The funeral Mass of Dr NORMAN GRISCTI SOLER who passed away peacefully on January 27, in Springfield, Illinois, will be said tomorrow at 2pm at St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
PISANI. On February 18, at his residence, after a long illness, KARL of Qawra, aged 35, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his father Joe, his mother Carmen, his sisters Marie Therese and her husband David and Katya and her husband Mark, his nephew Max, his beloved girlfriend Solange, many relatives and friends. VELLA. On February 19, at St Vincent de Paul residence, CARMEN, née Privitera, widow of Alfred, aged 72, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Stephen and his wife Alessia and Alex and his wife Vanessa, her grandchildren Luca and Amelia, her brother and sister, in-laws, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
