CARUANA. On January 18, at St Vincent de Paul, JOHN, known as Ta’ Ċpajpu, of Żebbuġ, aged 84, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his seven children and their families, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brothers and sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul residence tomorrow at 3pm for St Philip’s parish church, Żebbuġ, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment at the Qalb ta’ Ġesù cemetery, Żebbuġ. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest. CASSAR. On January 18, HARRY, passed peacefully away at Mater Dei Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Tessie, née Scerri, his daughters Caroline, Fiona and her husband Abraham, his sons Alexander and his wife Fleur, and Simon, his beloved grandchildren Phoebe, Elisa, Owen, Ema and Adam, his brother-in-law Jack, his wife Doris and their children, his brothers, sisters, in-laws and their children, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.15am for St Joseph parish church, Msida, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.45am, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery.
