BRINCAT. On January 2, at Mater Dei Hospital, CHANEL MARIE, aged 30, passed away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Andrea, her parents Lilian and Joseph Busuttil, her brother Sean and his girlfriend Daniela, her grandma Doris Borg, her husband’s parents Maria and Charles Brincat, her brothers-in-law Daniele and his girlfriend Anna, Gabriele and his fiancée Christine. Also mourning her loss are her husband’s grandmother Pauline Xuereb, uncles and aunties, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei tomorrow at 1pm for Hniena Divina Sanctuary, San Pawl tat-Targa, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 1.30pm followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Puttinu Cares will be greatly appreciated. The family regrets that they cannot receive visitors and wishes that those who attend the funeral dress in black and white.
CARBONESE. On December 31, JOSEPH, widower of Pauline, aged 88, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his daughters Lorna, wife of Alfred Farrugia, Mariella, wife of Alex Azzopardi and Anouk Myers. He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren Michel, Rachel, Thomas, Nadine and her husband Federico Mariño and his precious great-granddaughter Uma, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8am for the Madonna Tal-Ġebla parish church, Gżira, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
