BALDACCHINO. On December 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA CONCETTA, of Cospicua, aged 85, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Charles and his wife Doris, Sylvia and her husband Victor, her grandchildren Mark, Martin, Elton and his wife Sonia, Claire and her husband Noel, James and his wife Dorianne, and David, her great-grandchildren Sarah, Ruth, Emma, Ronnie and Lara other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 7.45am for the Immaculate Conception parish church, Cospicua, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
CIANTAR. On December 13, at Mater Dei Hospital, FRANK (ex-chief petty officer, Royal Navy), of Birkirkara, aged 89, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Joe and his wife Josephine, Jane and her husband Frans Muscat, Mary and her husband Joe Vella, Bernard and his wife Antoinette, Patrick and his wife Sylvana, Louise, widow of his son Vince, his sister Maria and her husband John Muscat, residing in the US, his nephews and nieces, in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for St Mary’s parish church (il-knisja il-qadima), Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Hospice Movement, Balzan, and Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord grant him eternal rest.
