CARUANA. On November 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANTONIA, of Marsa, aged 82, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Emanuel, her children Mario and his wife Ana, and Antoinette and her husband Raymond Sghendo, her grandchildren Daniel, Roberta and her husband Beppe, her great-grandson Luka, her brothers and sisters, in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8am for the Holy Trinity parish church, Marsa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

She leaves to mourn her loss her children Grace and her husband Joe Cachia, Rennie and his wife Joan, Emanuel and his wife Jane and Ignatius and his wife Antonia, her grandchildren Ritianne, Charles, Patrick, Michael, Matthew, Karl and Keith, her in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Collegiate parish church, Cospicua, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GAUCI. On November 11, at Gozo General Hospital, Mgr ANTON GAUCI, Dean of the Gozo Cathedral Chapter, aged 88, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers and sisters Ġorġina, Ġiġi, Nażżarena, Mgr Giuseppi, Mgr Archdeacon Vicar General Giovanni Bosco, Tarċisja, and their families, including Maria Debono, his nephews and nieces, among them Fr Victor, Fr Joe and Fr John, other monsignors of the Gozo Cathedral Chapter and of the Gozo diocese, and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Gozo General Hospital tomorrow at 12.15pm for the family residence in Savina Square, Victoria, from where at 4pm the cortège will continue to the Cathedral, where Bishop Mario Grech will lead a concelebrated Mass præsente cadavere at 4.30pm, followed by interment at St Mary’s Cemetery, Victoria. No flowers by request but donations to Fr Anton Grech’s Mission in Guatemala will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
VELLA. On November 15, at Casa Antonia, BICE, née Rizzo, aged 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Emmanuel, Moira, Fiona and Anne; their spouses; her brothers and sister Joseph, John and Ena and their spouses; Josephine, widow of her brother Walter; and her grandchildren Sebastian, Laurence, Joseph, Cyprian, Beatrice, Grace and Alexandra. Her Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday, November 19, at 2.30pm at the Balzan parish church, followed by inter-ment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
