CORTIS. On November 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH, of Sliema, aged 89, passed peacefully away comforted by the rights of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Charles and his wife Carmen, Raymond and his wife Jennifer, Christine and her husband Noel, Doreen and her husband Joseph, grandchildren, sisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relative and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for the Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant him eternal rest.
DOUBLET. On November 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, ROSARIA (Rose) of Sliema, aged 87, passed peacefully away after a long illness borne with Christian fortitude, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Tessie and Doris, widow of Paul Azzopardi, as well as her numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends, especially the members of the Piccola Famiglia Francescana. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9am for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30am, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at the Day Care Unit, Mater Dei Hospital, for their care and dedication. Special thanks go to the administration, nurses and carers at Roseville House for the Elderly, Attard, where Rose spent the last three years of her life. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
