CAMILLERI. On November 1, at Mater Dei Hospital, GEORGE of St Julian’s, aged 66, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Anita, his son Mark and his daughter Kristina, his brothers and sisters, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for the Carmelite parish church, Balluta, St Julian’s, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm.
CHETCUTI. On November 4, VINCENT of Sliema, aged 78, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Carmen, née Tortell, his children Michael and his wife Marianne, Sandra and her husband Richard, and Stephen and his wife Desiree, his grandchildren Christina, Francesca, Martina, Mark, Kim, Michelle, Mia and Lea, his adopted daughter Nicky, in-laws, relatives, friends and numerous ex-students. Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.
TRAPANI. On November 4, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH of Floriana, former manager, Phoenicia and Excelsior hotels, aged 85, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Greatly missed by his wife Doris, née D’Agostino, his daughter Mary and her husband Gejtano, his son Martin and his wife Anna, his beloved grandchildren Romina, Keith, Roderick and Krystle, his great-grandchildren, his brothers and sisters, his in-laws and their spouses, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8.30am for St Publius parish church, Floriana, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at the Ħniena Divina Cemetery, St Paul’s Bay. Donations to the Poor Clares Sisters, St Julian’s will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
