CARUANA. On October 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, EDGAR of Paola, aged 89, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Carrie, his children Alfred and his wife Therese, John and Edwin, his grandchildren Claire, Judith, Elaine and Kelly Louise, his brother Benny, his sister Maria, his in-laws Alfred and Jessie, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9.30am for Christ the King parish church Paola where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery (Tal-Erwieħ) Tarxien. CREMONA. On February 27 at St George’s Hospital, London, ROBERT, aged 56, passed away peacefully . He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Diana, his daughters Olivia and her fiancé Bryn, and Bianca, his son Francis, his sister Susan and her husband Klaus Vella Bardon, his brother Alfred and his wife Theresa, his mother-in-law Jackie Turcotte, his father-in-law Pierre Turcotte, his sister-in-law Anne-Marie, and his brothers-in-law Paul and his wife Colleen, Michael and Walter, nephews and nieces, aunts, cousins, and numerous friends in Malta and England. The funeral service was held at St Mary the Virgin parish church, Horsell, Surrey, on March 8, followed by interment in the parish cemetery. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be said today at 7pm at St Patrick’s church, Sliema.
ELLUL. On October 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIE-LOUISE, née Farrugia, aged 58, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones. She leaves to mourn her great loss her husband Joseph, her children Veronica and her husband Enrico and Christopher and Francesca, her mother Mary, her siblings, Roseanne, George, Gloria, Monica, Margaret, John and their respective spouses, her mother-in-law Catherine and her in-law Tania and her husband Michele, nephews and nieces and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 9am for the Divine Mercy Sanctuary, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, Naxxar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares, Mater Dei Hospital, will be greatly appreciated.
VASSALLO. On October 29, FRANCO, widower of Louise, née Fenech, aged 77, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sister Bianca and her husband Lino Camilleri, his brother Milo and his wife Rita, in-laws, nephews, nieces and other relatives, his partner Irene Gialanze and her family and his numerous friends. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
VLEUGEL. On October 22, in Gorredijk, the Netherlands, MICHAEL, aged 39. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Christine Fenech, and son Daniel, his parents Hanneke and Jaap, his two brothers Koen, Thijs, his partner Marike and his nephews Peer and Hugo; his parents-in-law Paul and Winnie and his brother-in-law Ian, relatives and friends. A memorial service for the repose of his soul will be held at Tal-Ibraġ parish church tomorrow at 6.30pm.

Fashion show
