BORG. On October 15, JOSEPH, aged 64, from Siġġiewi and residing in San Ġwann , comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Josephine, his son Saviour and his wife Joanna, his daughter Riann and her husband Matthew, his nephews Stephan and Nicholas, his sisters Doris, Karmni and Rita, his brothers Pietru, Jimmy, Kola, Leli and Toni, his in-laws Grezzju, Frans and Doris and their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3pm for St Nicholas parish church, Siġġiewi, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment at the cemetery of the same parish. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

ABELA – MARY. Unfaded memories of a beloved mother and grandmother, today being the sixth anniversary of her passing away. Fondly remembered by her beloved children Marlene, Edwin, Maurice, Sister Franceline (Missionaries of Charity), Charles, Silvio, Joe, John, their respective spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. CUSCHIERI – YVONNE. Cherished memories of a dearest mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

JACCARINI – JANE. Today being the fourth anniversary of her demise. Always remembered by her sons Francis, Bernard and David, their spouses and grand-children. Evening Mass at the Risen Christ parish church, Pembroke will be offered for the repose of her soul.

SCHRANZ. In loving memory of my dearest friend VICKY, today the 12th anniversary of her death. Always in my thoughts and prayers. Kathleen.

Access closed

Access from the Valletta bus terminus to the Central Bank’s Annexe at St James’s Counterguard will be closed from Monday due to restoration works on the bastion walls.

The bank’s annexe at St James’s Counterguard is still accessible to the public from Girolamo Cassar Street.
