Obituary
CEFAI. On October 11, Canon Fr CARMELO, dean of the Collegiate Chapter of St Paul of Rabat and rector of St Paul’s Grotto, aged 93, at Dar Tal-Kleru, went to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the Rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sister Marion, his brother Lawrence and his wife Ann, nephews and nieces Joseph and his wife Ingrid, Miriam and her husband Saviour Mifsud, Lorraine and her husband Philip Schembri, Aris and his wife Olga, great-nephews and great-nieces Annmarie, Alec, Andrew, Aoron, Maria Poala, Kristian, Annalise, Cristina, Luke, Valentin Paul, and Maximilian, their spouses, fiancé/es and children, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves the chapel of St Cataldus tomorrow at 3.15pm for St Paul’s Collegiate Church, Rabat, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm. The funeral will then proceed to St Margherita cemetery, Rabat, accompanied by the Count Roger Band. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Kleru will be greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank all the staff at Dar tal-Kleru. Lord grant him eternal rest.

Tomorrow being the 31st anniversary since the passing away of MARY M. D’AMATO, Masses in her memory will be said at St Augustine’s parish church, Valletta. The attendance of relatives and friends will be appreciated.
A Mass for the repose of the soul of MIMICI VASSALLO will be said on Tuesday at 7pm in the crypt of the Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy, San Pawl tat-Tarġa.
