AZZOPARDI. On October 5, JOSEPH, (trumpeter) of Valletta, aged 77, passed peacefully away at Mater Dei Hospital, and went to join his beloved daughter Maryanne Damato. He leaves to mourn his loss his devoted wife Jane, née Hayes, his sons Mario and wife Pauline, Michael and wife Annette, grandchildren Karl, Kim, Kelly, Mirco and Thomas, his sisters Barbara Criminale, Rose Skeates, his brother and sister-in-law James and Joan Hayes, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei hospital today at 2.30pm. Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3pm at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery church. Lord grant him eternal rest.
BONACI. On October 6, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANNIE, née DOUBLET, of Sliema, aged 92, widow of the late Lewis (Gigi), went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss, her loving and beloved children Marianne, Paul, and Claire wife of Giovanni Valastro, her beloved grandchildren Alessandro and Marcello, her sister Sr Serafina Doublet SOC, her in-laws Vincent and Inez Bonaci, nephews, nieces, cousins, family friend Marianne, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for Sacro Cour Parish Church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Roy, children John and Tanya and her husband David, her brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces, in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.30pm for Santa Marija parish church, Gudja where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment at the family grave at the parish cemetery.
