AZZOPARDI. On September 11, at Mosta Residential Home, JOSEPHINE of St Paul’s Bay, aged 90, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Eve and her husband Louis, Helen and her husband Charles, David and his wife Helen, Katie and her husband Joe, George and his wife Rose and Victoria, her in-laws, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. CASOLANI. On September 9, DOROTHY, passed away peacefully at the age of 66, surrounded by her loved ones and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Marcel, her beloved children Ian and his wife Lara, Niki and Veronica, Marc and Vanessa, her grandchildren Emma and Sasha, her sister Betty Vella, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for St Julian’s parish church where Mass will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. On September 10, at Zammit Clapp Hospital, ALFRED (Fredu), of Msida, residing in Paola, ex-Malta Drydocks and former player, Hibernians FC, passed away peacefully at the age of 89, surrounded by his loving family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Ellen, his children Virginia, David and his wife Maria, Michael and his wife Diane and Connie and her husband David, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Zammit Clapp Hospital tomorrow at 8am for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GALEA BORG. On September 11 CARMEL passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 86. Dearly beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather, he leaves his sons Victor and Steven and his only daughter Susan Bishtawi, her sons Danny and Sammy and his wife Petra and beloved grandson Christopher, other relatives and friends. On Friday13th the funeral leaves from Mater Dei at 10.30am going to Santa Maria Addolorata for service and interment in the family grave. God grant him eternal rest.
PSAILA. On September 10, LAURENCE, aged 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his devoted wife Carmen née Abela, his children Connie and her husband Emmanuel Scerri, Philip widower of Marianne, Joe and his wife Sylvia, Miriam and her husband George Casha, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brothers and sisters, his in-laws among whom Rev Frans Abela OFM, relatives and friends.
