BONAVIA. On August 25, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANTHONY, aged 91, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Valerie, née Bugeja, his children Norman and his wife Celine, and Nathalie Ciappara, his grandchildren Edward and his wife Maria, Veronica and her fiancé Anton, Leo and his wife Flavia and great-grandchildren Phoebe, Kurt and Zach, his in-laws, nephews and nieces. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Francis, her son Charles and his wife Marisa, her sisters Esther, Josephine and her husband Jimmy Farrugia, Patricia and her husband Mario Xerri, her in-laws Emanuela, James and his wife Carmen, Jane and her husband Charles, Joe, Carmelo and his wife Lucy, her uncle Joseph and his wife Rose, her nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Alfred, Charles and Anna residing in Canada, Doris, Joseph, Helen, and Emmanuel, their spouses, nephews, nieces, her sister Francesca, relatives and friends. NAXXAR ROAD CLOSED
Naxxar Road from the Lija cemetery towards the roundabout junction at the Birkirkara bypass will today be closed to traffic.
Vehicular traffic from Naxxar Road towards Mosta Road will not be affected.
Traffic from Mosta Road (towards Birkirkara) will be diverted to St Michael Street and Deronimo Abos Street onto the Birkirkara bypass.
Public transport will not be affected.
