DeBONO. On August 13, at Mater Dei Hospital, Chev. Capt. PAUL DeBONO of Attard, aged 75, passed away peacefully, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children, Simon, John, Andrew and Angela their spouses, grandchildren, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at Stella Maris parish church in Sliema today at 9.30am. May he rest in peace of the Risen Lord.

DEPARES. On Sunday, August 11, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH F., aged 84, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Violet, née Farrugia, Philip Leone-Ganado widower of his daughter Josette , his grandchildren Alexia Rossi , Philip Alexander, Chiara and Kristina Leone-Ganado, his in-laws Celestina, Ronnie, Sunnie, Tessie, John and Orae and their spouses together with Violet, widow of Remig, his nephews and nieces, relatives, many friends and members of the Christ the King prayer group. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8.30am for St John of the Cross parish church, Ta’ Xbiex, where Mass præsente cadavere celebrating his new life in Christ will be said at 9am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery ( back gate). No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank the consultants, doctors, therapists and nurses as well as the staff at Mater Dei and Boffa Hospitals for their loving care and dedication throughout his illness.

TABONA – JENNIFER (née Rutherford), died peacefully at home on August 3, 2013. Jennifer will be missed beyond words by her husband Rodney, sons Andrew and Michael, daughter-in-law Liz, sister Dorothy, brother-in-law Tony Zammit Tabona and his wife Gladys and all her family in Scotland and Malta. A funeral service will be held at St Mary’s Roman Catholic church, Woburn Sands, today at noon. No flowers please but donations if desired to Cancer Research UK.
