VASSALLO. On August 1, at her residence in San Pawl tat-Tarġa, ERMINIA (known as Mimici), née Miceli Farrugia, aged 66, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her great loss her beloved husband Francis, her beloved daughters Alexia and her husband Michael Perotti, and Adriana and her husband Peter Camilleri, her beloved son Steffan and his wife Nicola, and her beloved grandchildren Antonia, Julia, Oliver, Robert, Luca, Jamie, Andrew and Marcus. She also leaves to mourn her great loss her beloved mother Lilian Miceli Farrugia, her brothers Mark and his wife Josette, Alberto and his wife Ann, her sisters Helene and her husband Ivor Zammit, Marina and her husband Mark Hogg, and Francesca and her husband Geoffrey Warr, as well as her in-laws Elsa Vassallo, Stephen and Jacque Vassallo, Peter and Madeleine Vassallo, Joe Vassallo and Christine Salomone together with her numerous nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles and friends both in Malta and abroad. The funeral leaves her residence in San Pawl tat-Tarġa today at 9.15am and Mass, præsente cadavere, will be said at 9.30am at the Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, followed by private interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers are requested but donations to Puttinu Cares, Mater Dei Hospital, and Hospice Malta, Balzan, would be appreciated. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.

VELLA. My beloved mother, IRIS VELLA, passed away peacefully on August 1, aged 92 years. She goes to meet her dearest husband Joe and son Chris. A Mass præsente cadavere will be said at St Gregory parish church, Sliema, at 8.45am on Monday, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Her daughter Felicity, beloved grandson Richard Wismayer and her surviving brother Oliver Cardona and family. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
