CAMILLERI. On July 4, at Risan, Montenegro, JOSEPH of Marsa, aged 69, passed away suddenly. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Jane, his only daughter Marisa and her husband Marcus Magro, his adorable granddaughter Martina, his sisters Angela, Mary and her husband John, Antonia and her husband Joseph and Doris and her husband Joe, his in-laws Carmelo and his wife Maria, Doris, widow of Emanuel, Frankie and his wife Jamm, Iano and his wife Jane, Isabelle and her husband George and Maria Gloria and her husband Vince, his nephews and nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends, especially the members of the Christian Doctrine Society MUSEUM. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for Maria Regina parish church, Marsa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Radju Marija, Rabat, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
CANNATACI. On July 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, RICHARD, aged 84, passed away peacefully, after a long illness borne with Christian fortitude, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Doris, née Catania, his son Joseph and his wife Marcelle, his daughter Marisa, his granddaughters Christine and her fiancé Matthew, Sarah and Nikki, Catherine Dalmas and Carmen. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.15am for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.45am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. McIVER. On July 5, DORIS, née Formosa of Australia, aged 79, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Christopher and his wife Sonia, Stephen, Adrian, and her daughter Marie Therese, her grandchildren, her brother Joe and his wife Maureen, her sisters, Sr Yvonne of the Sisters of St Joseph of the Apparition, Mary Micallef and her husband Thomas, Jessie Sheldon and her husband James, Beacher Prior, besides relatives and friends. The funeral takes place today in Mackay, Queensland. A prayer by all who knew her is appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
SPITERI. On July 9, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, Cavagliere ALFREDO SPITERI of Valletta, aged 76, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his only sister Rosemary, wife of John Curmi, his niece Theresa, wife of Gavin Sammut Alessi, his beloved great nephew David, other relatives and friends in Malta and abroad. The funeral cortège leaves St Vincent de Paul today at 9.30am for St Rita’s chapel, Lourdes Lane, St Julians, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family thanks all the staff at Fatima Ward for their care and attention and his cousin Berta for her constant help and support. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
WHITE. On July 10, at Boffa Hospital, RONALD of Birżebbuġa, residing at Marsa, aged 69, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Stella, his daughters Sandie and her husband Sandro and Simone and her husband Jesmond, his grandchildren Maria, Christine, Mattea, Nicole and Gabrielle, in-laws, other relatives, friends, and fellow members of the Neo-Cathecumenal Way. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today at 2pm at Maria Regina parish church, Marsa, followed by interment at Żurrieq cemetery.Donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated.
