DAMATO. On June 7, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARGARETA, née Guiron, widow of Dr Pierre Damato, aged 88, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Bertil and his wife Frankanne and Henrik and his wife Sandy, her beloved niece Bisse, son-in-law Agostino, her devoted carer Morena, her grandchildren Erika, Stephen, Andreina, Joe, Karl, Rachel and Greta, her great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for St John of the Cross parish church, Ta’ Xbiex, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
VELLA. On June 9, EDWIN of Cospicua, residing in Marsascala, aged 82, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Carmen, his children Rose and her husband David, Anthony and his wife Anna, Raymond and his wife Doris, Louis and his wife Lucianne, Mary and her husband Emmanuel, Joe and his wife Elaine, Simon and his wife Fiona and Brian and his wife Christine, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his sisters and his in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.45pm for St Anne parish church, Marsascala, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
