CAMILLERI. On May 20, at the Countess of Chester Hospital, Chester, UK, MARIE THÉRÈSE, née Asciak, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Jennifer and her husband Marioth Manché, Christopher and his wife Rita Ann, and Angèle and her husband Jonathan Hart, her grandson Andrew, her brother Wilfred and his wife Marion, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2pm for the Nativity of the Virgin Mary parish church, Senglea, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm. The coffin will be accompanied by the cremated remains of her husband Joseph, who had passed away on September 29, 2006, followed by the interment of both at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CARUANA. On June 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOHN of Ħamrun, aged 89, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his wife Olympia, his children Michael and his wife Joan, Marlene and her husband Charles Abela, Catherine and her husband Mario Farrugia, Alphonse and his wife Josette, his grandchildren, his sisters Mary Farrugia, residing in Australia, and Tereża Jackson, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. GALEA. On May 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH of Valletta, residing at San Ġwann, aged 79, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Catherine, his children John and his wife Rosanne, Graziella and her husband Mark, his grandchildren Corinne, Katya and Lara, in-laws, other relatives and friends. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Sheila, née Copperstone, his most treasured children Daniele and Sandra, Francesco, Cristina and her fiancé Clive, and his most adored grandchildren Francesca and Rebekah, brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces, in-laws, relatives and friends. Prayer meeting
A prayer meeting for the sanctification of priests and for priestly and religious vocations will be held on Saturday at the Manikata parish church. The event starts with Mass at 9pm followed by adoration until 11pm.
