FARRUGIA. On June 2, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, MARIA widow of Ġużeppi, aged 85, of Valletta, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Emily and her husband Wilfred, Tony and his wife Carol, Lillian and her husband Harry, Gwido and his wife Rita, Monica, David and his wife Ellis, Godwin and his wife Monica, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence tomorrow at 9am for Ta’ Ġieżu church in Valletta where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment at the family grave in Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GATT. On June 2, at Mater Dei Hospital, SAVIOUR, of Valletta passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Victor, widower of Carmen, Charlie and his wife Joyce, Alfred and his wife Catherine, Vince and his wife Joyce, Doris, Mary and her husband Joe, Pauly and her husband Joe, Joey and his wife Miriam, Raymond and his wife Marthese, Antoinette and her husband Dennis, family, other relatives and friends. GRECH CREMONA. On June 2, Rev. Can JOSEPH, aged 83, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sister Adelina, wife of Paul Pollacco, Sylvia, wife of Joe Xuereb, Carmen, his nephews Christopher and his wife Mary, Dr Robert Xuereb and his wife Dr Mariosa, his grandnieces and grandnephew, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for St Publius parish church, Floriana where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm.
PUGLISEVICH. On May 31, JOSEPH, of Msida, aged 63, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Lilian, his daughter Kelly, his son Antoine, his grandchildren Julia and Haiden, other relatives and friends. The funeral will be held today at 2pm at Msida parish church.
SANT CASSIA. On May 30, the Noble ANTHONY GEORGE, aged 90, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his daughter Susan and her sons James and Dominic Meadows, Mary Willis-Jones, his sisters Josephine and her husband Antoine Cachia Caruana and Yvonne, his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said at St Dominic’s Church in Rabat today at 9am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Villa Messina, Rabat. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
VASSALLO. On June 2, at her home in Balzan, MARY ANN, née Camilleri FCII, aged 51, passed away peacefully after a long illness borne with Christian fortitude, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her devoted husband Jason, her beloved daughters Chiara and Michela, her brother Donald and his wife Sarah, Anton Cuschieri widower of her sister Marie-Louise, her nephews Giancarlo, Jonathan and David, her niece Tiziana, her dear cousin Elizabeth, her extended family, in-laws, and many friends. The funeral cortège will leave her home at 2.15pm today for Balzan parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2.30pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. On her own request, dark clothes need not be worn. Donations to Hospice Malta would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the Oncology staff of Sir Paul Boffa Hospital and the Surgical Staff at Mater Dei for their care and attention. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
