ABELA. On March 7, at Boffa Hospital, JOHANNA of Sliema, aged 52, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her loving partner Pierre Borg, her parents Paul and Dorothy, née Bellizzi, her brothers Christopher and his wife Angela and David and Irina, her sister Ann and her husband Peter Camilleri, Pierre’s mother Lina and his brother Mario, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated today at 2.30pm at Tal-Ibraġ parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. DESIRA. On March 8 at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY of Cospicua and resident at Żejtun, known as Il-Ħajjata, aged 84, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Joe, her children Michael and his wife Antonia and Marthese and her husband Alan, her brothers Lorenzo, Joseph, Paul, David and their families, her in-laws and their families, other relatives and several friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital at 2.45pm on Tuesday for St Gregory parish church, Żejtun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 3.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at the parish cemetery. No flowers by request, but donations to Dar Nazzaret, Żejtun, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
SAMMUT. On March 8, at St Vincent de Paul residence, LUCY of Birkirkara, aged 85, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Alfred and Marion, Joe and Nathalie, and Helen and Philip, her grandchildren Lara, Maria, Ingrid, Nathaniel, Priscilla, Svetlana and Kimberley, her in-laws, relatives and friends.
