CARABEZ. On February 25, at Mater Dei Hospital, RITA, née Muscat, widow of Emmanuel, aged 79, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Marianne and her husband Francis Theuma, Josette and her husband George Formosa, Carol and her husband Joseph Pace, and Jennifer and her husband Daniel Sammut, her son, Lieutenant Pierre Carabez and his wife Juliana, her 15 grandchildren, her eight great-grandchildren, her brothers and sister, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for St Mary’s parish church (Knisja l-Qadima), Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
DALMAS. On February 25, at Mellieħa Home for the Elderly, IRIS, aged 82, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother MGR JOSEPH DALMAS, her other brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces, family and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mellieħa Home for the Elderly today at 1.15pm for Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment in the family grave. The family thanks the staff at the Mellieħa Home where she was looked after with love and care. God, grant her eternal rest.
ELLUL. On February 25, at Mater Dei Hospital, PAUL, of Sta Lucia, aged 74, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rose, née Sargent, his daughters Ruth and her husband Mark Mamo and Louise and her husband Joe Grech, Grace, widow of his son Mario Ellul, his beloved grandchildren Daniel, Kurt, Rachel, Claire and David, his brothers and his sister, in-laws, their respective spouses, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am for St Pius X parish church, Sta Lucia, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
