Summer schools registration

Anyone planning to organise a summer school or club through an educational programme who does not have a licence should register as an educational establishment with the Directorate for Quality and Standards in Education.

To qualify for this registration, which will be valid for this summer, an establishment needs to provide an informal educational programme which does not lead to formal certification.

This would consist of creative, cultural, recreational and sports activities for children aged between three and 16 years, held between June and September.

Before registering their children, parents should be informed about fees and other expenses.

Only summer schools and clubs registered with the directorate will be exempt from VAT on the fees. Registration closes on May 3.
