AZZOPARDI – On February 1, at Mater Dei Hospital, MIKE JOE, of Naxxar, beloved husband of the late Victoria, aged 88, passed on to eternal life, comforted by the rights of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his daughters Angela and her husband Charles Borg, Valerie and her husband Victor Zammit, her beloved grandchildren Andrew and Adriana, Timothy, Sarah and Matthew, Julian and great-grandchild Keira. He also leaves to mourn his loss his sisters Vicky, Rose and Jane, his brother Paul and their respective families all residing in the US, his brother-in-law Charles, his sisters-in-law Evelyn and Emanuela and their respective families. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3pm for the parish church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, Naxxar, where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment at Naxxar Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to St Clara’s Monastery, St Julian’s, will be appreciated. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the IDU at Mater Dei Hospital and nurses and carers at the Holy Family Home, Naxxar, for their care and dedication. FORMOSA. On February 1, at his residence in Fgura, EDWIN, passed away serenely in the peace of the Lord, aged 76. He is deeply mourned by his beloved wife Maria, née Debattista, his devoted daughters Mareska and Juanita, wife of Ray Debattista, his granddaughter Mattea, his brothers Tony, Mario and Sunny, his sisters Rose Jacovides and Carmen Scicluna and their respective families. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.15pm for Fgura parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. He leaves to mourn his great loss his children Rennie, Raymond and his wife Judith, Maria and her husband Ronnie Caruana, his grandchildren Letizia, Ryan, Kurt, Emily, Luella, Darren, Luka and Justin, his great-granddaughter Mya, relatives and friends.
