BORG GRECH. On January 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, VICTOR of Sliema, passed away peacefully, aged 88, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He will always be loved and remembered by his sons Paul, Raymond and his wife Anna and daughter Victoria, their respective families, other relatives and friends. A funeral Mass will be taking place tomorrow at 9.30am at Stella Maris parish church, High Street, Sliema, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CUTAJAR. On January 28, JOSEPH (ex-Engineer at Rediffusion), aged 80, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Pauline, his son Norman and wife Marta, his daughter Valerie and husband John Borg Costanzi, his grandchildren Simon and wife Lisa, Gaby, Eve, Jan, Patryk and Fran, his sisters Rose and Jane and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Żabbar cemetery. DEGIORGIO. On January 28, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, LILIAN of Lija, aged 63, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Joe, her children Paul, Jason, Chris, Josianne and their spouses, her grandchildren Amy Ann, Luke, Andrea, Nikki, Kurt, Dale, Gareth and Jake, her brothers and sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for Lija parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at St Gregory Cemetery, Żejtun. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
GRECH. On January 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, Fr RENO GRECH, SJ, aged 69, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Mother Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brethren in the Society of Jesus in Malta, his sisters Grace, widow of John Grima, Emmie, wife of Santu Barun and Sylvia, wife of Anthony Busuttil, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and former students of St Aloysius’ College. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow at 3.30 p.m. at Mosta parish church, followed by interment at the parish cemetery in Naxxar. No flowers by request but donations to the Jesuit Province Infirmary at Loyola House, Naxxar, will be greatly appreciated. May he rest in the peace of the Risen Lord.
