CURMI. on January 20, at St Vincent De Paul Residence, EMANUEL, (k/a il-Go-Way), of Valletta, aged 91, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Victor and his wife Carmen, Freddie and his wife Mary, Pawlu and his wife Esther, Marlene and her husband Richard, Rose and her husband Michael, Rita and her husband Joseph and Miriam, widow of his son Vincent, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his sister Mary, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent De Paul Residence tomorrow at 7.30am for St Paul Shipwreck parish church in Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. FENECH SOLER. On January 20, at Zammit Klapp Hospital, EVELYN, aged 98. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Joe and Caroline, Anthony and his wife Catherine, her daughter-in-law Vivienne and her husband Tony, her grandchildren Selina and her husband Joe, Kristian and his wife Krista, Michaela and her partner Stefan, Emma and Caroline and her great grandson Zak, her sister Maudy, her brothers Harry, Joe and his wife Tilly, other relatives and friends. GALDES. On January 20, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOYCE, née Debono, aged 81, widow of Anthony Galdes, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Mary Clare and her husband Ian, Norbert and his wife Valerie, Valerie and her husband David, her grandchildren Alastair, Lisa, Michael, Robert and Karen, her sisters May Laferla and her husband Victor and Jane McGill, widow of John McGill, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am for Our Lady of the Annunciation parish church, Balzan, where Mass, præsente cadavere, will be held at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GAUCI. On January 19, at Gozo General Hospital, CARMEN, ex-headteacher Girls Secondary, Victoria, Gozo, aged 81, passed away peacefully, comforted by rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers Mgr Joe Gauci, Gregory, Paul, her sisters Rita, Vitorine, Antoinette and Agnes, her nephews and nieces among whom Fr Roberto Gauci and Deacon Gabriel Gauci, her uncles Mgr Joseph Azzopardi, Michael and auntie Rita, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Gozo General Hospital at 4 p.m. to the Carmelite Sisters Convent in Kerċem and then to Kerċem parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4.15 p.m followed by interment at Santa Marija Cemetery. Lord, grant her Eternal Life.

THEUMA. On January 19, HELEN (Lily), aged 83, at Mater Dei Hospital, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Marie Louise and her husband Henry, David and his wife Loraine and Tonio, her brothers and sisters Ġużi, Karmelina, Mary Ann, Salvinu and Reno, their families, numerous nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital at 1.30pm today for Santa Maria church (Old Church), Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta will be appreciated.
