GAUCI. On January 19, at Gozo General Hospital, CARMEN, ex-headteacher Girls Secondary, Victoria, Gozo, aged 81, passed away peacefully, comforted by rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers Mgr Joe Gauci, Gregory, Paul, her sisters Rita, Vitorine, Antoinette and Agnes, her nephews and nieces among whom Fr Roberto Gauci and Deacon Gabriel Gauci, her uncles Mgr Joseph Azzopardi, Michael and auntie Rita, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Gozo General Hospital at 4 p.m. to the Carmelite Sisters Convent in Kerċem and then to Kerċem parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4.15 p.m followed by interment at Santa Marija Cemetery. THEUMA. On January 19, HELEN (Lily), aged 83, at Mater Dei Hospital, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Marie Louise and her husband Henry, David and his wife Loraine and Tonio, her brothers and sisters Ġużi, Karmelina, Mary Ann, Salvinu and Reno, their families, numerous nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital at 1.30pm today for Santa Maria church (Old Church), Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta will be appreciated.
