DELIA. On December 25, at Mater Dei Hospital, Dr BENNY DELIA, LLD, aged 85, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Joscelyn, his stepsons Charles and his wife Andre and Bruce and his wife Claire, his grandchildren Lyall, Gemelle and Jamy, his great-grandson Ben, his beloved sisters Nora, Lina and Frances, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for St Cajetan parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm. Following Mass, a funeral cortège accompanied by St Joseph Band Club of Ħamrun, will take place, followed by interment in the family vault at Siġġiewi cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Ħamrun, and Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

DIMECH. On December 24, at Mater Dei Hospital, PAMELA, formerly of England, residing Ta’ Paris, Birkirkara, aged 71, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Carmel (Nenu), her children Roy and his wife Rita, Tony and his wife Mary and Katherine and her husband Ray, her grandchildren Luca, Shaun, Mikhail, Chiara and Shannon, her mother Doreen, her brothers Pat and his wife Anne and Philip and his wife Myra residing in UK, in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for St Helen’s Basilica, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at xSanta Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. The family regret that they are unable to receive visitors.

ENGERER. On December 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, ROBERT, aged 60, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Patricia, née Swain, his sons Karl, Tommy and his wife Sarah, and Edward, his granddaughter Julia, his brother David and his wife Joan, his sister Janet and her husband Anthony, his in-laws Charles and his wife Monica, Veronica and her husband Paul, Albert and his wife Pat, Pippo, Catherine and her husband Noel, Lorraine and her husband George, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.45am for St Julian’s parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.15am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. FIRTH BERNARD. On December 23, at Mater Dei Hospital, SYLVESTER of Naxxar, aged 77, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Josephine, his children Simon, Martin, Joanna and Alice and her husband Steve, his nieces and nephews, Hannah, Jack, Marina, Bryony, Annie and Ben, his sister Jackie and her husband John, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9.30am for the Holy Trinity church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment at Ta’ Braxia Cemetery, Pietà.Donations to 6/7, Marsam-xett, Valletta and Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi.

ZAMMIT. On December 26, at Karin Grech Hospital, CARMELINA, née Galea, of Valletta, residing at Birkirkara, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Jane, Christine, Albert and his wife Margaret, and Peter and his wife Doreen, her adorable grandchildren Maria and her husband Lawrence, Paul and his girlfriend Sarah, Karl and Andrew, her sister Rose and her husband Carmel, her brother John, other relatives and friends. The funeral took place yesterday.
