BORG. On November 14, HELEN, née Grech, widow of Alfred, aged 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her beloved children Charles, Victor, Doris, George, Mary and her husband Saviour Pisani, John and his wife Lucy, Lilian and her husband Emmanuel Zammit, Alice and her husband Alfred Frendo, Alex and his wife Rita, Philip and his wife Appollonia, Joseph and his wife Monica, Anna and her husband John Mangion, her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre today at 8.30am for St Julians parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.15am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to St Clare’s Convent, St Julians and Radju Marija, Rabat, will be greatly appreciated. Heartfelt thanks go to the medical and nursing staff at RW3, Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre for their dedication, care and support. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
PORTELLI. On November 13, ROSA, née Attard, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, aged 85. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Henri and his wife Marisa, née Lucia, Simone, Sharonne and her husband Mark Fenech, her grandchildren Ramon and his fiancée Francesca Borg, Jean-Luc, Ylenia and Tamara, her in-laws, nephews and nieces, friends and her carers Leonora and Tyron Silos. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9.30am for the parish church of the Assumption, Attard, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
