AQUILINA. On November 5, Fr KAMILLU, OFM, aged 93, passed away peacefully at Villa Messina, Rabat, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brother friars of the Maltese Franciscan Province of St Paul the Apostle, Mary, widow of his brother Paul, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Feast of Immaculate Conception
The nine days of preparation for the feast of the Immaculate Conception in Mqabba will kick off on November 30 at the parish church. The recital of the rosary will start at 5.30pm followed by the kurunella of the Immaculate Conception, a Eucharistic celebration and Mass.
Gozo philatelic exhibition
The 13th Gozo Philatelic Society exhibition, called Majesty, will be held between this Saturday and November 16 at the Ministry for Gozo exhibition hall in Victoria.
This year’s exhibition will be divided into junior and adult categories. Adults can enrol as non-competing participants or as competitors in three sections: postal history, social philately and traditional philately.
The exhibition will be commemorated with a special hand-stamp, a set of five commemorative cards and a special sheet of five different personalised stamps.
Remembrance Mass
Mass will be said at the Jesuits’ Church in Merchants Street in Valletta on Sunday at noon in remembrance of medical course graduates of 1958.
Meanwhile, a remembrance service is being organised by the King’s Own Malta Regiment Association for the repose of the souls of the regiment’s members at St Patrick’s Church in Sliema on November 14 at 6pm.
Art aid in Rabat
The exhibition Art Aid għall-Missjoni 2 will be held at the Dominican Convent in Rabat from November 10 to 18, between 9.30am and 12.30pm and 4.30 to 7.30pm.
