GAUCI. On October 12, MICHAEL (Lino), passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Nora, his daughter Maria and Peter Mifsud, his brother Dominic and his wife Maria, his nephew Mario and his wife Eleonor, their daughters Georgette and Michaela, his in-laws and their families, and close family friend Jane Scicluna. LAPIRA. On October 11, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH CHARLES, after a short illness bravely borne with Christian fortitude and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Mary, his adored children Josette and her husband Mark Miceli Farrugia, Lionel and his wife Dorothy, Alec and his wife Enza, Aida and her husband John Tortell, his grandchildren, Nicola, Matthew, Luke, Daniel, Jessica, Christina and Christopher, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today at 8.45am at St Joseph parish church, Msida, followed by interment at St Andrew Cemetery, Żebbuġ. No flowers by request but donations to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Ħamrun, will be greatly appreciated. May the Good Lord grant him eternal rest.

Tomorrow being the 30th anniversary of the death of MARY M. D’AMATO, Masses said at St Augustine’s parish church, Valletta, will be offered for the repose of her soul. The attendance of relatives and friends will be appreciated.

Mass For Teenagers

Dlħ Exhibition
Din l-Art Ħelwa is holding an exhibition of paintings by Maria Rossella Dalmas, themed Pulchrior In Luce, at Auberge d’Italie, Valletta between October 20 and November 9. It will be open from 8am to 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday, and 9am to 12.30pm on Sundays. Part of the proceeds will go towards the restoration of Our Lady of Victory church.
Prayer Meeting
A prayer meeting for the sanctification of priests and for priestly and religious vocations will be held today at 9pm at the Archbishop’s Seminary, Tal-Virtù, Rabat.

A bazaar in aid of the Dominican Missions is being held at St Dominic Priory, Rabat, until tomorrow. Opening hours are 8am to 1pm and 4-8pm today and 8am to 8pm tomorrow.

A jumble sale is being held at the parish centre in Guardamangia to raise money in aid of Our Lady of Fatima parish church. The event will run until November 12 from 9.30am to 7.30pm.
