AZZOPARDI. On October 6, TARCISIO, aged 76 (retired nurse), passed away suddenly and peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital emergency department, comforted by the rites of the Catholic Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Grace née Vella, his sons Anton and his wife Marthese, Joseph and his wife Sandra, his precious grandchildren Kate, Karl, Emma and Clare, his brother and sisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 3pm for Mosta parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be concelebrated at 3.30pm. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, shall be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Post office hours

MaltaPost has changed the opening hours of the following post offices:

Between October 1 and June 14, the St Julian’s Post Office at Lombard Bank in Paceville Street will be open from Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 2.30pm.

Between October 1 and June 15, the Post Office at the University of Malta in Msida will be open from Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm.

In the meantime, letterbox 429 at Marfa Road, Mellieħa, which had been temporarily inaccessible, is now back in service.

Power cuts

There will be power cuts in the following localities today:

Between 7.30 and 11.30am in Bżulija, Tħabrik, Qolla, Free Port and St Rita streets in Birżebbuġa.

Between 8am and 2pm in Liedna and St Thomas streets in Fgura.

Between 8am and 2pm in Dun Karm Sant and St Thomas streets in Tarxien.

Between 8.30am and 3.30 in Main Street in Sannat.

There will be power cuts as follows tomorrow:

Between 7.30 and 9.30am in Santu Wistin, Il-Wilġa, Id-Dragunara, Santa Rita, Ball and San Ġorg streets and Ix-Xatt Ta’ San Ġorġ and Trejqet Id- Dragunara in St Julian’s.

Between 8.30 and 3pm in Ir-Rokon street in San Lawrenz.
