Obituary
BONELLO. On October 3, OLGA, of Valletta, aged 93, widow of Antonio PhC, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers the Rev. Can George Sciriha and Pio Sciriha, her nephews and nieces in Malta and abroad, the nephews and nieces of her husband, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow at 8.15am at St Augustine parish church, Valletta, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request, but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated.
DA-RIN. NAIDA, on October 2 in Rome, passed away suddenly. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children, Georgina and Daniele, her beloved grand-children Francesca, Antonia and Timothy, daughter-in-law Carol da-Rin, son-in-law Gianni Zingales, family members in Australia and Italy, and many friends the world over. She led a long and adventurous life, most of that alongside her beloved husband Eric da-Rin, and was deeply attached to Malta and her many Maltese friends. She will sadly missed. A funeral service will be held in Rome on Saturday, October 6.
ZAMMIT. On October 3, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, HARRY, aged 66, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Paulette, his children Nadine and her husband Edward Gatt, Bernard and his wife Anastasia, Andrew and his wife Maria, his precious grandchildren Giuseppe, Giancarlo, Benjamin, Alan and Esther Rose, his brother David and his wife Anna and his sister Dorothy and her husband Carmel Ellul, his in-laws Henriette Sammut, Aldo Micallef and his wife Antoinette, Rosalie and her husband Joseph Meli, Antoinette and her husband Ian Roffey, Josephine and her husband Alfred Cappello, Edith Aloisio, Ethel and her husband Joseph Ellul, Sylvana Buhagiar and Victor, other relatives and friends, among whom David Doublesin. The funeral leaves St James Capua Hospital, tomorrow at 8.15am for St Gregory the Great church, Sliema where Mass, præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.45am, followed by interment at Luqa cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares, will be greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff of the fourth floor at St. James Capua Hospital for their dedication and support. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
