LA ROSA. On September 25, STEPHEN, aged 49, passed away suddenly and peacefully at his residence in Sliema, comforted by the rites of Catholic Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Louise, née Pace Ross, his son Daniel, his father George and his mother Marion, his sister Joanna, his father and mother-in-law Joseph and Victoria Pace Ross, his brothers-in-law George, Adrian and his fiancee Janine, Julian and his wife Martina and Paul and his wife Nadine, other relatives and friends. NAUDI. On September 26, at Boffa Hospital, MARLENE, née Cesareo, of St Julians, aged 69, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Robert, her brother Tony and his wife Doris, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow for St Julians parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.15am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. PACE. On September 25, JOSEPHINE of Sliema, residing at Kappara, aged 87, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Catholic Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her husband Joseph Saviour, her sisters, Rose, Sarah, Rita and her husband, her brothers, Julian, Godfrey, Victor and Austin residing in Australia, and their wives and families, nephews and nieces. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today at 8.30am at Madonna ta’ Lourdes parish church, San Ġwann, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
SIMLER. On September 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, ROSE, née Portelli, aged 85, widow of Joseph, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Marylene and her husband Prof. Charles Savona Ventura, Maryanne and her husband Claudio Chisari, Antoinette and her husband Dr William Azzopardi, her sister Tessie, her brother Joseph and his wife Iris, her sister-in-law Miriam, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am for St Dominic parish church, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
