AQUILINA. On September 20, PETER PAUL, of Nadur, aged 84, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Catholic Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Maria, his daughtersCarmen and her husband Sam Debono, Lina and her husband Reno Bugeja, his grandchildren Mark, Kristen, Pierre and Anthony, his sisters Mary, Angela, Coronata and their families, his brothers Martin, John and their families, the families of his deceased brothers, Austin and Frans, his brother-in-law Peter, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege will leave Gozo General Hospital tomorrow at 4.45pm arriving in front of the Mnarja Band Club at around 5.10 pm and then proceed to the Basilica of St Peter and St Paul where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 5.30pm followed by interment at Nadur Cemetery. BAJADA. On September 23, at Mater Dei Hospital, LUDGARDA of Marsa, residing in Cospicua, aged 85, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Loved and remembered by her children Twanny and his wife Lucy, Joyce and her husband Joe, Isabelle, Raymond and his wife Marie and Martin and his wife Isabelle, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, in-laws, their respective spouses and families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Collegiate church, Cospicua, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
CAMILLERI. On September 24, at Karin Grech Hospital, ROSE, widow of Tousse’, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Mary and her husband Nunzio Darmanin, Doris and her husband Tony Cassar and Thomas and his wife Madelene, her grandchildren Gabriella and Charlo, Sandra and Rubin, Robert and Olivianne, Malcolm and Sarah, Caroline and Kurt, her precious great-grandchildren Luca and little Katrina, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital at 1.30pm tomorrow for St Anthony of Padova chapel in Paola where Mass will be said at 2.15pm. followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Adddolorata Cemetery. On September 24, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH of Ħamrun, aged 63, ex-Headmaster, Bighi Trade School, Tarġa Gap School for Arts & Crafts, St. Francis of Assisi Secondary School (formerly Umberto Calosso), passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Monica, née McKeon, his daughter Olivia Ann, his mother Ersilia Grima, his two sisters Karmen and her husband Wilfrid Buttigieg, and Miriam Grima, his brothers-in-law Joseph and his wife Appollonia, Norbert and his wife Elizabeth, his dearest friend Twanny Bezzina and his wife Dorothy and their children, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8.30am for St Cajetan parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be appreciated. On September 22, at Dar Madonna tal-Mellieħa, CARMELO (ex-President, Society of the Holy Name of Jesus, Mellieħa, and Honorary Member of La Vittoria Philharmonic Band, Mellieħa), passed away peacefully at the venerable age of 95. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Carmen, Michael, Pawlino, John, Albert and Joseph, their respective spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.45pm for Mellieħa from where the cortège will be accompanied by the La Vittoria Philharmonic Band to Our Lady of the Nativity parish church, Mellieħa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment at the Sultana tal-Vittorji Ceme-tery, Mellieħa.
