Maj. BENJAMIN L. PSAILA and ANNA-MARIE WATSON

The marriage took place on July 7, between BENJAMIN, son of Winston and Jennifer Psaila of St Julian’s, and ANNA-MARIE, daughter of Edward and Susan Watson of Newcastle. The ceremony, held at the Eglise Reformee Arve Mont-Blanc, was celebrated by Pastor Isabelle Pierron. A reception at the Grand Hotel du Montenvers in Chamonix, France, followed. The bride was attended by Miss Sarah Smart. Adam Stout was pageboy. Owen Lombardi was best man. Eunice Smith and Gillian Markham were witnesses. David Watson and Peter Jones were ushers. Peter Jones was also master of ceremonies. The couple spent their honeymoon in Hawaii and have taken up temporary residence in Sydney.

The marriage between ALBERT DeBono and ANNE Debono took place on August 26, 1962, at St Catherine of Siena church, Valletta. Fr Charles Vella officiated. BRINCAT. On August 24, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, CARMELO a.k.a. Charlie Xlugi, of Valletta, aged 62, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Doris, his daughter Lorraine and her husband Jeffrey Shaw and their son Neill, his daughter Marquita and her husband Paul Farrugia and their children Noah, Naomi, Aaron, Deborah, Joel and Ruth, his brothers and sisters Doris and her husband Charles Mallia, Joe and his wife Ġemma, Ċensina and her husband Ċensu Lapira, Ġuża widow of his brother Paul, many nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30 p.m. for St Paul’s parish church, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. FALZON. On August 6, JOSEPH, originally of Cospicua, was called to meet the Risen Lord, aged 86. He lived in Melbourne. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Miriam, his children Rose Marie, Ray, Susan, Janice, Michael, Chris, and Michelle, his grandchildren as well as his sisters and brothers, Mary, Lawrence, Rose, Tony and Alfred, their respective families, other relatives and friends.

FALZON. On August 24, at St Catherine Home, Attard, M’ANNUNZJATA, of Birkirkara, aged 88, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She went to meet her husband Emanuel and her son Alfred and she leaves to mourn her loss her children Carmen, Josephine, Phyllis, Paul, Saviour, Mario, Elizabeth, Lillian, their respective husbands and wives, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Catherine Home on Tuesday at 8.30 a.m. for the Basilica of St Helen, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery.
