BONELLO. On August 7, ROSINA (Rożi), née Fenech, aged 84, widow of Joseph (Ġużi), of St Andrews, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Rita, widow of Jim Wareing, Annie and her husband Leli Baldacchino, her grand-children, great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8.30 a.m. for Tal-Ibraġ parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, or Puttinu Cares, Mater Dei Hospital, will be greatly appreciated. Thanks to the doctors and staff at the Observation and Medical Ward 2 and Neuro Surgical Ward, Mater Dei Hospital, for all their care. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
CARUANA. On August 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, LOUIS, of Lija, aged 79, husband of the late Carmen, nèe Debattista, president of St Pio X Band Club for the past 24 years, died suddenly and peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his beloved children Maria and Rosanne and their spouses Peter and Raymond, his beloved grandchildren Ramona, Rebecca and her fiancée Dwayne, Petra, Ryan and great-granddaughter Chloe, his partner Rose Marie Bonaci, his sister Esther, other relatives, friends, committee and members of St Pio X Band. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Our Saviour parish church, Lija, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by a cortege to Lija cemetery, accompanied by St Pio X Band Club. No flowers by request but donations to LifeCycle will be greatly appreciated. The family thanks staff at the Renal Unit and M5 for their dedication and care. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
