ALAMANGO. On July 7, MANFRED of San Ġwann and residing in Mosta, aged 43, passed away peacefully. Loved and remembered by his partner Dana, his mother Maria, his brothers John and Philip and his wife Renate, his sisters Miriam and her husband Vincent Friggieri and Nathalie and her husband Manuel Zammit Alamango, his uncles John Alamango and Joseph Piscopo, his auntie Carmen widow of Joseph Alamango, cousins, nephews and nieces Ernest, Sean, Martine, Pippa, Kim, Christine, Karen, Nikita and their relative spouses, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. for Our Lady of Lourdes parish church, San Ġwann, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.

FACCIOL. On July 10, at Mater Dei Hospital, EMANUEL, of Cospicua, aged 78, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rose, his son Mario and his wife Maria, his daughter Lilian and her husband Dominic Vella, his grandchildren Karl and Isaac, his brothers, in-laws, their respective families, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Our Lady of Immaculate Conception collegiate church in Cospicua, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

JOLLY - JOSETTE, née Baindeky, aged 87, beloved widow of Air Commodore RM Jolly CBE., died peacefully after a long illness, comforted by the rites of Holy Church at St James Hospital, Sliema, on Monday 9th of July. She leaves to mourn her loss, her family Ruby, Brian, Aaran, Brioney and all her friends. May she rest in peace. A Mass præsente cadavere will be said at Tal-Ibraġ on Friday at 9 a.m. A cremation service will be held in Guildford UK. No flowers are requested but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated.

RIZZO. On July 9, MARY ROSE, née Tabone, of Msida, aged 81, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her husband Victor, her children Marion, Patricia and Peter, Albert and Heidi, Walter and Alison, Bridget and Dino, her grandchildren Denyse, Gavin, Zachary, Kelly and Kevin, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday at 7.30 a.m. for St Joseph parish church Msida, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. The family wishes to thank the staff at Mater Dei Hospital who assisted her in her last days. ZARB COUSIN. On July 9, EDWARD, of Sliema, aged 83, widower of Sonia, née Scicluna, passed away peacefully at Casa Antonia. Loved and deeply missed by his son Noel and his wife Marthese, his daughter Simone and her husband Joseph Fenech, his adored grandchildren Lyn, Luke, Laura and Kurt, his sisters-in-law Lilian Zarb Cousin and Margaret Zarb Cousin, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Casa Antonia at 9 a.m. on Friday for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Mission Fund day trip to Gozo

The Mission Fund is organising a day trip to Gozo on July 21 in aid of Maltese missionaries. After Mass at Ta’ Pinu, the group will visit Ta’ Dbiegi Crafts Village, Rabat, Nadur and Marsalforn.
