AZZOPARDI. On June 26, at her residence, MARIA MADDALENA, née Falzon, widow of Joseph, passed away peacefully at the age of 81. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved son Carmel and his wife Evelyn, her daughter M.Rose and grandson Joseph. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday at 8.30 a.m. for St Mary parish church, Attard, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to St Joseph Home, Sta Venera, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors at home.
TESTA. On June 27, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, FELIX (CID Inspector, Rtd.), aged 89, passed away peacefully two months after his beloved wife Giovanna. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his children Lawrence and his wife Jean, Joe and Mary, Paulette and Alfred, Mona and Vincent, Bernardette and Lawrence, his 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, his sisters Jinnie and Liza and her husband Lino, his brother Francis and his wife Carmen and his sister-in-law Carrie and her husband Lorry. The funeral cortège leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence today at 3 p.m. for St Lawrence parish church, Vittoriosa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 3.30 p.m., followed by interment at St Lawrence Cemetery, Vittoriosa. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares Foundation, Mater Dei Hospital, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
