BENCINI – YVONNE, née Debono, went to meet her beloved husband George on June 11, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her dear daughters Sandra, wife of Aldo Vella, Nella and Michael, her most precious grandchildren Candace, Ilona, George, Jamie and Jessica. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Jacob, Lara, Nina and Lily-Bo, her sister Ermelinda and her sisters-in-law Terry and Elsa, other relatives and friends. CHALMERS – ALISTAIR DAVID ROBERT, tragically on June 11, aged 31. Much beloved son of Roderick and Mary Rose, and cherished brother of Amanda and Christopher, Nicholas and Julie. Loving Uncle Ali to Ellie, Chiara, Francesca, Alex, Marisol and Max. Peace, perfect peace. A Mass in celebration of Alistair’s life will take place at the Divine Mercy chapel, Naxxar, today at 10 a.m., and will be followed by a private family burial service. D’AGATA. Suddenly, on June 3, while on a short holiday break in Gozo, VINCENT, aged 83, passed away comforted by the rites of Holy Catholic Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his children Adrian and his wife Carol, Alexander and his partner Geraldine Camilleri, his most devoted grandchildren Alistair and Andrew, his sister May Hughes and her husband Robin, his sister Elfrida, his brother Achille and his wife Joan of UK, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday at 8.30 a.m. for St Julians parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.15 a.m., duly followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Charity triathlon
The Westin Dragonara Resort will be holding a fund-raising morning on June 24 to support the 2012 Road to Awareness campaign.
The campaign seeks to raise at least $300,000 to support Unicef in the construction of pre-schools and help 50,000 children under the age of six to get ready for primary education in Ethiopia.
The event will consist of a Triathlon, starting and ending at The Westin Dragonara, and a Zumba session.
Registration starts at 8 a.m. and participation is at a minimum donation of €10 per triathlon participant and €5 per Zumba participant. Other donations are also being accepted and the highest donation will win a seven-night stay at Le Meridien Ile Maurice in Mauritius.

Thanksgiving Mass for Old Edwardians, their families and friends will be celebrated by Fr Brendan Gatt in the chapel at St Edward College on Sunday at 11.30 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend. The event is organised by the class of 1972.
