BEZZINA. On May 21, at Villa Messina Residence in Rabat, CARMELO, of Tarxien and residing in Gżira, aged 75 years, passed away peacefully comforted by the Rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Christopher and his wife Agnes, Gordon and his wife Joelin, Theresienne and her husband Costantino Mifsud, his grandchildren Mikela, Giulia and Katerina, his sister Julie, his brothers Joseph, Alfred, Frans and Mario, their respective spouses, his in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Villa Messina Residence tomorrow at 8.45a.m., for Our Lady of The Annunciation parish church, Tarxien, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Tarxien Cemetery. BORG. On May 21, at Casa Antonia, MARY, née Zahra, of St Julians, aged 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Francis, her daughter Mariella and husband Charles, her son Martin, and their children, her siblings and family, extended family and friends. The funeral leaves Casa Antonia retirement home tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for St Julians parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.15 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

CREMONA. On May 20, EMVIN of Attard, aged 56, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. His great loss is mourned by his sister Maryanne and her husband Johnny, his brothers Joseph and his wife Helen, Charles and his wife Marisa, Paul and his wife Anna, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30 p.m. for Attard parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.15 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. TABONE. On May 20, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPHINE of San Pawl tat-Tarġa, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Richard, her children Christopher and his partner Christina, Angela and Sebastian, Patrick and Veronica, Susan and Giuliano, Martin and Naomi, Mark and Blair, her daughter-in-law Antida, her grandchildren Rebecca, Andrea, Valentina, Kaya, Nicholas and Alexander, her sisters and brothers Carmen, widow of Harry, Bouvet, Jean and Hector, Alfred and Jane, Oswald and Sandy, Dorothy and Laurence, her in-laws Doris and Alfred, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 7.45 a.m. for Our Lady of Lourdes parish church, San Ġwann where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Free fun day

The Limestone Heritage Park and Gardens will be holding a free fun day for the family on Sunday to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Entrance is free and visitors will be able to try their hand at stone carving or playing a game of human table soccer. There will also be activities for children and young adventurers.

Expert resident craftsmen will give live demonstrations of stone carving and free guided tours of the park will be held every 30 minutes.

The park and gardens will be open between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Clearance sale

The Mission Fund will be holding a clearance sale on May 29 between 9.15 a.m. and 1 p.m. and from May 30 until June 1 between 9.15 a.m. till 1 p.m. and from 4.15 to 7.15 p.m. at Garage St Joseph, Gummar Street, Birkirkara. Items on sale will include Juventus banners and scarves.
