BORG. On April 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANTHONY PAUL, aged 65, passed away peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his wife Antoinette, née Xerri, his children Geraldine, Joanna and her fiancé John-Paul Tabone, and David, his brother Joseph and his wife Agnes, Marguerite, widow of his brother Victor, and his sisters Lina and her husband Aldo Portelli, Licia, widow of Paul (Lino) Vella, Doris, Jane and her husband William Shaw, his nephews and nieces, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30 p.m. for St Julians parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GALEA. On April 9, ROMEO, aged 94, passed away peacefully at St Vincent de Paul residence, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Ronald, Yvonne and her husband Anthony Mamo, Robert and his wife Elizabeth, Margaret, his sister Juliet, his niece Claire, his nephew Patrick, relatives and friends. GAUCI. On April 8, at Villa M. SSma Annunziata, Balzan, Sr M. CELINA GAUCI (Giuseppina) of the Sisters of Charity, aged 97, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the congregation of the Sisters of Charity, relatives and friends. MUSCAT. On April 8, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, MARIO of Balzan, residing at Birkirkara, aged 73, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Sorely missed by his children Brian and his wife Sharon, Maria and her partner Gordian and Lara, his grandchildren Neil, Aaliyan and Alicia, his brother Freddie, widower of Rożina, and his sisters Ġiorġina and Lucy and her husband Joe Scannura, Bice, widow of Nenu Nappa, and Rose, widow of John Azzopardi, their respective families, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3 p.m. for the Annunciation parish church, Balzan, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m. followed by interment at Balzan cemetery. VELLA BONNICI. On April 7, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital, CARMELINA, née Bonnici, widow of George, aged 82, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Therese, Gaetano, Joseph, Doro­thy, Kathryn and their respective spouses, her grandchildren, her sister Evelyn, her brother Frans, nephews, other relatives and friends. In Memoriam

AMATO GAUCI – PHILIP. On the second anniversary of Philip’s birth to eternal life, his wife, Victoria, their eight children and 13 grandchildren, remember him with love while cherishing fond memories of happier days and lighter moments shared.
