On March 13, JOHN, of St Paul’s Bay, widower of Mary, née Bray, former director of Jonstore Ironmongery, St Paul’s Bay, passed away peacefully at Dar il-Madonna tal-Mellieħa, at the age of 89. He leaves to mourn his children Perit Joseph Cuschieri and his wife Maria Dolores, Sylvia and her husband Carmel Grima and Anthony and his wife Victoria, his grandchildren Karen and her husband Conrad Borg, Daniel and his fiancée Anne Marie, Ritianne and her husband Kevin Chircop, Stephen and his wife Petra and Mariangela and her husband Stuart Vella Bonello, his four great-grandchildren, his brothers and sisters and their respective families, his in-laws and their respective families, other relatives and friends. Public speaking

The English-Speaking Union of Malta will be holding a half-day public speaking workshop on Friday between 9 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. at its premises in Valley Road, Msida. The workshop is intended to help those who dread speaking in front of an audience. Malcolm Naudi will be helping participants overcome the fear of public speaking, develop fast-thinking skills through impromptu speeches and show them how to give and receive feedback.
