US Embassy

The US Embassy will be closed on Monday as the US commemorates Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday. The embassy will resume normal business hours on Tuesday.

Funds for charity

The Richmond Foundation and the Hospice Movement will be holding a two-day fundraising marathon in aid of cancer patients. Members of Our Lady of Lilies musical society of Mqabba will be taking phone calls for donations on January 28 between 10.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. and on January 29 between 11 a.m. and noon.

Archbishop Paul Cremona will celebrate Mass at St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta, today at 6.30 p.m. for couples who tied the knot last year.

Mass will be celebrated on February 12 at St John’s Co-Cathedral at 6 p.m. for those who plan to marry this year.
