BORG. On December 12, RAYMOND, aged 54, son of the late Emanuel and Lorenza Borg, passed away at Mater Dei Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He will be greatly missed by his aunts and uncles, Carmen and Graham Goddard, Maria and Paul Xuereb, Joe and Vivien Zahra, Charles and Lilian Zahra, cousins and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 9 a.m. at Tarxien parish church followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Catholic Enquiry Centre, Dar l-Emigrant, Valletta, will be greatly appreciated.
FERRANTE. On December 13, FRANK, aged 89, widower of Denise née Radmilli, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved children Bernard and his wife Mariella, Simone widow of John Gatt, Lorraine and her husband Denis Formosa, Philip and his wife Angela, Martine and her husband Nigel Ellul, his precious grandchildren Michael and Sabrina, Louise, Alan, Karl, Diane, Karen and Michael, Ian, Stephen, Malcolm, Thomas, Andrew and Rachel, his great-grandchildren Sean and Emma, his sister Evelyn Spiteri Maempel, his brother Lino and his in-laws Minka Ferrante, Louis Radmilli, Iris Sciortino, Elda and Albert Mizzi, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Saint James Hospital, Sliema, tomorrow at 9.15 a.m. for Stella Maris parish church in Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
