MIZZI. On August 16, at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, Tal-Virtù, Rabat, Sister MICHELINA , aged 96, went to meet her Risen Lord comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the religious of the Society of the Sacred Heart, her brothers and sisters Annunziato, John Mary, Katarina Mercieca, Tereża and her husband Mabbile Tabone, Grezzju and his wife Tereża, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 2 p.m. at the Seminary Chapel, Tal-Virtù, Rabat, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. God, grant her eternal rest.

Prayer meeting
The next Mir prayer meeting will take place on August 23 at Maria Addolorata parish church, St Paul’s Bay, between 7.30 and 10 p.m. Mir means peace in Croatian. The prayer meetings are the fruit of a pilgrimage of 53 Maltese persons to Medjugorje in September 2005.
Performance at St Paul’s Bay
