On July 20, at her residence in Mellieħa, VICTORIA, née Agius, founder of Little Angels School, of Żebbuġ, aged 65, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Joe, her beloved daughters Bernadette and her husband Fabio Stivala and Joanna and her husband Kevin Portelli, her treasured granddaughters Francesca and Andrea, her sisters and brothers, Phyllis and her husband Tony Mifsud, residing in Canada, Joe and his wife Mary, residing in Australia, Frances and her husband John Agius, John and his wife Rose, Carmel and his wife Doris, Theresa and her husband Amon, Doris and her husband Charles Buhagiar, and Anna and her husband Amabile Camilleri, Emanuela, widow of her brother Saviour, Polly, widow of her brother Raymond, her husband’s family, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves her residence today at 7.45 a.m. for Żebbuġ parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m., followed by interment in the family vault at San Andrea Cemetery, Żebbuġ. BUSUTTIL. On July 19, at Charella Home, Sliema, MARIA STELLA, widow of Joseph, aged 91, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Godwin Miceli, her sisters-in-law Evelyn, Adelina and Lilian Miceli, her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and carers. The funeral leaves Charella Home today at 8 a.m. for the Carmelite church, Balluta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery (entrance from top gate). PISANI. We regret to announce that after a lengthy illness PHILIP died peacefully at Bowmanville Hospital, Ontario, Canada, surrounded by his family. Philip was 57 years old and is the son of Mr John Pisani who served as first Consul General for Malta in Canada.

On July 19, at St James Capua Hospital, ROSANNA, widow of Notary Joseph, residing at Fgura, aged 81, went to meet the Risen Lord, joining her husband, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Rosella, Marica and her husband Eugene Buttigieg, Noel and his wife Claudienne, her beloved grandchildren Marie Claire, Gianluca, Elise, Aidan William and Beppe, her brothers and sisters and their respective spouses, her sister-in-law, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St James Capua Hospital today at 8.15 a.m. for St Anthony church, Għajn Dwieli, Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Anna, his children George and his wife Cecilia, Carmen, Joe and his wife Anna, Euphemia and her husband Carmelo Fabri, Joan and her husband Nicholas Zammit, his brother, sisters and their respective spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
