CASSANO. On June 2, at Mater Dei Hospital, CHARLES (Carmel), of Msida, aged 87, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Josephine, née Guillaumier, his daughter Caryl and her husband Romano Cassar, his son Robert, his grandchildren Jeremy, Benjamin and Justine, his brothers Robert of New York, Fr Henry of Ontario, Canada and John of London, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2 p.m. for St Joseph parish church, Msida, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by private interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request, but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. TONNA. On June 6, ĠUŻA, of Floriana, aged 86, widow of Ġuzeppi, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Freddie and his wife Carmen, her daughter Carmen and her husband Victor Aquilina, her brother Lolly Borg and his wife Jane, Filippa, widow of Salvu, her grandchildren Kristian and his wife Gabriella Aquilina, Ruth and her husband George Cachia, Doreen and her husband Charlie Cachia, Stephen and his wife Natalie, 10 great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. VISANICH. On June 6, DORIS, aged 63, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, her husband Charles, her son Ivan and his wife Therese, her daughter Valerie and her husband Jonathan, her brother Joseph Azzopardi of Australia, beloved grandchildren Martha and Emilie, other relatives and friends. The funeral is to be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Gżira, tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. Her family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Hospice Malta and Ward M6 at Mater Dei Hospital for their continuous support. Roadworks in Birżebbuġa
Dawret il-Qaddasa in Birżebbuġa will be closed to traffic tomorrow until Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. because of roadworks, the council said. Traffic going towards Birżebbuġa will be diverted towards Żarenu Dalli Street from St George Roundabout.
Hobby exhibition
