GRIXTI. On May 25, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH of St Paul’s Bay, passed away peacefully at the age of 67, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his brothers and sisters Manuel and his wife Jeera, Francis and his wife Sonia, and Doris and her husband Joe, his nieces and nephews Alicia and her husband John and their son Tracy, Simone, Frankie, Giovanni, Angela and Vincent, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortége leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday, May 28 at 7am for Our Lady of Sorrows parish church, St Paul’s Bay, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
VELLA. On May 24, at Roseville, Attard, MARIA CASILDA, widow of Joseph, aged 85, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Helen and Joe Cachia, Marco and Lucienne, her beloved grandchildren Nicolò and Andrea, her brothers Charlo and his wife Maria, Caesar and his wife Phyllis, her sister Adelaide and her husband Morris, Doris, widow of her brother Lino, her in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortége leaves Roseville, Attard, tomorrow, Saturday, May 26 at 12.30pm for St Pius X parish church, Santa Luċija, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 1pm, followed by interment in the family grave at St Gregory’s Cemetery, Żejtun. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares, Mater Dei Hospital, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
